About

In January there will be 4 drawing sessions at Combi near Serralves, with the idea of taking our favourite drawings to the studio, to create a print series for each participant in February. In March there will be a group exhibition at Combi, where we will swap prints, drink coffee and have a good time.

If you would like to take part, sign up with your name and e-mail below and we’ll meet in January.

Bring pencil and paper :-)

Obrigado,

Michael

Print Session

After we have created some drawings, we will go paper shopping together, to then go to a print studio where each participant will create a series of screenprints.

For that we will have a short meeting beforehand, where I could crashcourse each participant in photoshop, to level out and layer different drawings.

Exhibition

The exhibition in march will be a meeting of all participants. Together we will decide for a frame and a way of hanging the created works. We will swap prints and have a 5€ per print sell-out.

Absolutely everyone is welcome to come and bring their friends.

Session 3

In the 3rd session we will do everything differently. If one’s dominante hand is the right, we will use the left. If one’s dominante hand is the left, we will use the right. We will also make some drawings without looking at the paper and combining both methods we will (at the end of the session) create some portraits.

Session 2

Every participant could bring an object that is of some sort of importance to this participant. It can be an object that one has had since childhood. It can also be an object that one found on the way to the session. Again we will implement these objects into our scene and draw them.

Session 1

At the 1st session we will be choosing from a variety of objects to then build up an arrangement of things in the middle of a table. One after another adds an object to the scene that we will then draw in setts of 3,5 and later, 10 minutes.
